Wrap Around Care Club Leader

We have an established group of families currently accessing Wrap Around Care on our school site and have taken this in-house at the start of September 2026.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic individual to join our wrap around care provision, creating a vibrant, safe and inclusive environment where children can thrive. The role will foster a nurturing setting that supports children’s social, emotional and creative development through a rich balance of structured activities, high-quality play opportunities and supportive adult interaction. We are looking for someone enthusiastic and caring and can offer high-quality support and training. Working hours will be 2.00pm - 5.45pm Monday to Friday, term time only.

The successful candidates will fit this person specification:

Essential

• Experience working with primary-aged children.

• Strong organisational and leadership skills.

• Ability to manage groups of children effectively.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities.

• Flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic approach.

Desirable

• Relevant childcare qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 in Childcare, Playwork, or equivalent).

• First Aid qualification.

• Experience leading clubs or childcare provision.

• Knowledge of school policies and procedures.

• Food hygiene qualification.

• Committed to supporting the values and ethos of a Church of England school.

• Team player with a proactive attitude.
