About our History Department

Our History Department is a collaborative and supportive team, united by a shared commitment to inspiring a lifelong love of History in every student. We pride ourselves on delivering a rich, diverse and fully resourced curriculum that enables students to explore a wide breadth of historical periods, places and perspectives. The team combines extensive experience with a passion for engaging teaching and learning, creating an environment where staff work closely together to share expertise and continually develop their practice. As part of a highly successful Humanities faculty, collaboration is central to our approach, ensuring students benefit from ambitious, well-sequenced lessons that foster curiosity, critical thinking and a deeper understanding of the world around them.
