About the role
Experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs. (may be in a non-educational setting)
A sound knowledge of the primary curriculum including the National Curriculum
Good communication skills
(oral and written)
An understanding and empathy with regard to working with children with special educational needs
An ability to plan and problem solve in a holistic way.
The ability to reflect on your own practice and plan in a positive way.
An ability to work positively and professionally with parents and our Home/School Link Worker
The ability and commitment to working successfully within a whole school team
The ability to plan for a wide range of needs in a creative and structured way.

ICT skills
Excellent classroom management skills
