The Role
We are seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to work through our agency in Primary Schools and Private Nurseries across Liverpool. This is a wonderful opportunity to support the early development of young children, helping them grow and thrive in a caring and stimulating environment. You’ll work alongside educators to provide high-quality care and learning experiences for children in their formative years. This is a full-time role.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the delivery of engaging, play-based activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
• Provide attentive care to meet the physical, emotional, and developmental needs of young children
• Assist with daily routines, including feeding, changing, and ensuring a safe and clean environment
• Encourage social skills, independence, and curiosity through creative and educational play
• Work closely with teachers and nursery staff to observe and record children’s progress
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive setting
What we are looking for
• A recognised qualification in childcare (e.g., Level 2 or 3 CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent)
• Experience working with young children in a nursery, school, or similar setting
• A warm, patient, and proactive approach, with a genuine passion for early years education
• Strong communication skills to engage with children, families, and staff effectively
