About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support pupils in the dining hall and playground, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
- Encourage good table manners, positive play, and social interaction.
- Assist the class teacher in the classroom with general duties, supporting pupils with their work and helping to create a positive learning environment when required.
- Deal with any incidents promptly, following the school procedures.
- Provide basic assistance to pupils as required (e.g. with meals or general hygiene needs).
- Maintain order and discipline in line with school policies and ethos.
- Support the school’s safeguarding and health & safety practices at all times.
- Promote and model our school values: Be Responsible, Be Kind, Be Respectful, Be Curious, and Be Resilient.
- Complete regular safeguarding training and any other relevant training as required.
