About the role
At Nether Alderley Primary School, we are proud to be a warm, nurturing and family-centred school where every child is known, valued and encouraged to flourish.
We are looking for a kind, patient and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to support a Year 2 pupil for 32.5 hours a week. Your role will be to work alongside the class teacher to deliver the objectives as stated in the child’s Education, Health and Care plans, including supporting social communication and interaction, helping the child manage anxiety and regulate emotions, providing sensory breaks and social skills activities, and encouraging confidence and independence.
You will be the key worker for the child and will liaise with other members of staff, parents and other professionals

We need you to have an NVQ 2 or higher; experience of supporting pupils with learning, speech, language and communication needs and to be self-motivated and able to work in a small team with a positive, can-do attitude.
