A key part of this commitment is our purpose-built Hair and Beauty Salon, which provides students with the opportunity to develop practical skills, explore career pathways and gain recognised qualifications within this exciting and creative industry.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Instructor of Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy to lead our thriving provision and inspire students to achieve their very best. Whether you are an experienced educator or a talented industry professional looking to take your first step into teaching, this is a unique opportunity to make a genuine difference to young people's lives while sharing your passion and expertise.

Our fully equipped salon delivers the City & Guilds Level 2 Technical Award in Hair and Beauty Studies, enabling students to develop both practical and theoretical knowledge of the sector. Students explore the world of hair and beauty, industry developments, scientific principles behind products and treatments, and the creation of professional images for business use. Alongside this, they gain hands-on experience in a range of skills including shampooing, blow-drying, styling, plaiting, basic make-up application and nail techniques, whilst investigating beauty trends from Ancient Egypt through to the modern era.
