The Role
We are excited to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic ICT Teacher to join a thriving Secondary School in Liverpool starting as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity to empower students with digital literacy and technical skills that are vital in today’s world. You’ll play a key role in delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, preparing pupils for success in an increasingly digital future. This is a full-time position.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver dynamic, curriculum-aligned ICT lessons for students at Key Stages 3 and 4
• Foster digital confidence and problem-solving skills through practical, hands-on learning
• Monitor and support pupil progress, providing timely feedback and adapting teaching strategies where necessary
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment that encourages student engagement
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments to enhance cross-curricular learning
• Contribute to wider school life, including extra-curricular ICT clubs, events, and digital initiatives
What We Are Looking For
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching ICT at secondary level
• Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the KS3 and KS4 ICT curriculum (GCSE Computer Science desirable)
• Ability to inspire students of varying abilities and backgrounds
• Excellent classroom management skills and a passion for teaching digital skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and fostering student well-being
