Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, skilled and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our committed and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner who is passionate about helping children achieve their full potential and who can contribute positively to our inclusive and nurturing school community.

The successful candidate will:

• Plan, prepare and deliver learning activities for individuals, groups and whole classes.
• Lead whole-class teaching when required, covering teachers' planned absence and PPA time.
• Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
• Work collaboratively with teachers to deliver high-quality learning experiences.
• Assess, monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers and pupils.
• Support the school's commitment to inclusion, safeguarding and high standards of achievement.

• Has a good understanding of the primary curriculum.
• Can inspire, motivate and engage children in their learning.
• Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Works effectively as part of a team and uses their initiative.
• Has high expectations of behaviour, achievement and wellbeing for all pupils.
