About the role
We are seeking to appoint a self-motivated, enthusiastic and energetic Head of Year to work within Hyde High School’s Pastoral Team and lead a cohort of up to 240 pupils.
Taking key responsibility for a whole year group, the Head of Year will promote the excellent behaviour, personal development, progress and welfare of all pupils so that they can realise their full potential. The post-holder will have a visible presence as the lead figure for their allocated year group and will promote high expectations, high standards and a positive culture and ethos that praises and celebrates all aspects of pupil achievement.
