The successful candidate will:
- Lead the strategic development of Technology across all key stages, ensuring a curriculum that is creative, relevant, and ambitious for all learners.
- Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that ignite curiosity, encourage innovation, and celebrate practical skills and design thinking.
- Inspire students to develop confidence, creativity, and resilience through hands-on learning and problem-solving.
- Manage and develop a dedicated team of teachers and technicians, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
- Oversee the effective use of specialist spaces, equipment, and materials to ensure a safe, modern, and inspiring learning environment.
- Contribute to a positive school culture where staff and students are encouraged to “be the best that we can be.”

- Is an experienced teacher with a strong track record of success in Technology (Resistant Materials, Engineering, Product Design, or related specialisms).
- Has the leadership skills, creativity, and drive to raise standards and build a department that inspires both students and staff.
- Brings fresh ideas, enthusiasm, and a passion for hands-on learning.
- Is committed to the wider life of the school and the development of students as confident, independent learners.
