Cleaner

We are seeking to appoint a flexible, enthusiastic and energetic cleaner, to join our school, where your passion and ideas will be welcomed enthusiastically. The successful candidate will:

• Have proven experience in commercial, institutional, or residential cleaning.
• Be aware of health and safety regulations, including safe chemical handling and manual lifting.
• Have excellent time management to complete designated routines within set shift windows.
• Be punctual, reliable, and adaptable to occasional deep-clean schedules during school holidays.
• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a wider cleaning team.
• Have strong attention to detail, maintaining high hygiene standards across classrooms, washrooms, and communal areas
• Have an approachable demeanour suitable for working around students, staff, and visitors.

The successful candidate will be based at Frances Bardsley Academy and become part of an oversubscribed, flourishing school for girls aged 11 to 18, with confident, courteous, articulate students and an ethos in empowerment. The school has a positive environment, with dedicated and supportive colleagues who strive for excellence.
