Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that support Year 1 pupils in making strong progress across the curriculum
Create a child-centred environment that enables effective teaching, learning and care
Build and maintain positive relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed and involved in their child’s learning journey
Foster a calm, safe and orderly learning environment, helping children develop independence and responsibility for their own behaviour
Work collaboratively with colleagues, contributing to a proactive and supportive team atmosphere
Bring an aspirational, reflective and empathetic approach to your teaching practice
Embrace inclusive practices, supporting children from diverse backgrounds, including those for whom English is an additional language
