About the role
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food as directed.
- Rotate as and when required between the Craven Kitchen, the Sixth Form Hatch and the Staff Room.
- Assist in all general cleaning duties of these areas, including deep cleaning, as and when required.
The successfuly candidate should be able to demonstrate:
- Flexibility, which is essential in relation to hours of work, should there be a need to cover an absence within the team.
- Excellent communication skills with both adults and young people.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The successful candidate will need to hold the Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification, or be prepared to obtain it immediately.
