Breakfast Club Assistant

St Georges CofE (Aided) Primary School are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, and responsible individual to join our team as a Breakfast Club Assistant. In this rewarding role, you will support the day-to-day running of our wrap around care provision, helping to create a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children. You will work closely with colleagues to provide high-quality care, supervise children, and support a range of stimulating activities that promote children's wellbeing and development.

This post is for 7.5 hours per week, (7:30am - 9am) Monday to Friday, term time only (38 weeks)

Key Responsibilities

• Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the wrap around care provision.
• Provide direct supervision and care for children aged 4 to 11.
• Assist in planning, organising, and delivering a variety of enjoyable and age-appropriate activities.
• Promote the safety, welfare, and safeguarding of all children at all times.
• Build positive relationships with children, encouraging inclusion, independence, and positive behaviour.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with parents, carers, and school staff.
• Maintain accurate records in line with school procedures and safeguarding policies.
• Assist with the preparation and serving of healthy snacks, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
• Help maintain a welcoming, positive, clean, and well-organised environment.
• Support colleagues in ensuring the provision operates effectively and meets the needs of all children attending.

• Experience working with children in a school, childcare, or similar setting (preferred).
